Jack Ramsey is a pianist from Seattle Washington.  In 2006 he moved to New York to pursue a 5 year double degree program at the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, graduating in 2011 as valedictorian with a BFA in Piano Performance and a BA in Literary Studies.

 

Winner of the Charlie Palmieri Piano Competition, Ramsey has arranging credits on Jimmy Owens critically acclaimed album “The Monk Project,” has worked as a composer for the newTACTic’s theater festival, and is the lead keyboardist in LEGS.

 

Currently, Jack Ramsey lives in Seattle, WA, working as a private teacher, pianist, and composer. He is releasing his first solo piano album, The Blue Hour, in June, 2023.
